Carry One Another’s Burdens

Posted on November 4, 2025

To carry our “One Another” theme for this week, we’ll be reading in Galations. Here Paul is writing a letter to churches in the region around Galatia, in about 48 A.D.

In this letter, Paul is defending the the Gospel of Grace and reminding believers that only through Jesus Christ are they justified by faith and not by works of the law.

The Galations were facing challenges and opposition, and Paul was urging them to live boldly as Sons and Daughters of God, led by the spirit. To stand firm in their freedoms and warns against turning back to spiritual slavery that the Judaizers were trying to impose upon them.

Galatians 6:1-5 (KJV)

1 – Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2 – Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

3 – For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

4 – But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

5 – For every man shall bear his own burden.
